Shiloh

Hi,
We just finished reading the book Shiloh and watching the movie. How did you come up with the idea to write the story, Shiloh? How did you become a famous author? Are you happy with the movie version of your book?

I came across such a shy, trembly dog when I was visiting friends in Shiloh, West Virginia, in 1989.  That’s why I wrote the book.  I thought that the movie producers did a very good job.  Some of the actors were marvelous, especially Marty, Judd Travers, and Marty’s mom, not to mention the dog actor.
