Celebrities?

I actually have two questions. My first question is when writing the Alice Books, do you have certain celebirties that you think of when you write about certain characters? I know there’s already a Alice movie but what about the people that came after the movie? (Like Sylvia and Gwen)???

 

My second question, is in the last book of The Alice Series I heard it was going to be about her from 18 to 60. How is that going to work? Are you going to jump around a few years every chapter?

 

The very last Alice book that will be published, “Always Alice,” takes her from age 18 to 60.  Each chapter will jump ahead to some important event in her life, and give it more than just a cameo appearance.  As to having celebrities in mind when I write, I’m not sure I understand your question.  The Alice books were written long before the producers decided to make a movie.  They based their movie characters on the book characters, not vice versa.
