Alice questions

Hi, I just want to tell you that I absolutely love all your books, especially the Alice books. My first question is did you put a lot of your personality into Alice when you were writing about her? And did you always know what Alice’s future job would be? And lastly, do you ever read your books after writing them? Thank you so very much for taking the time to read and answer my questions! I don’t read the whole book once it’s written and published.  Usually I read sections of it if I’m giving a talk somewhere and looking for a paragraph to illustrate what I mean.  Or I have to look through a book again to answer a reader’s question,
