Bugs Me So Much!!!!

Question:

I have this problem with my friend it’s like I never know when she means what she saying. Like if i’m having troulble deciding something she just nods her head and she didn’t even hear the question!!!!! And when I ask her if she knows someone or some place she immediately says she knows when she doesn’t!!!! And when someone compliments me she says “hey what about me” it’s really annoying!!!! She complains about what other people do when she does the exact same thing it bugs me so much!!!! And say she has something on her face or I can see her underwear showing or something like that when I tell her so she doesn’t go around looking weird she say “I don’t care” in a cold voice. I’m like geeze I was only trying to help!! Is there anything I can do???

Is there anything you like about this girl? Enough to stay friends with her? Maybe you need a time to sit down with each other and make a list of the five things you most like about each other and the five things that bug you most, with the understanding that each of you will accept criticism without getting mad. Good luck. As I remember, Alice and her friends tried this once and it didn’t come off too well. Your friend sounds pretty insecure to me. A girl who is mostly interested in herself, wants all the attention, pretends to know things she doesn’t, and resents even helpful criticism, is usually a person with a poor image.
