Class Project

I’m in 5th grade. I love your books on Shiloh; I am reading A Shiloh Christmas next.The books remind me of my dog, Jack. He is almost fifteen years old. He is blind and deaf though. He might pass soon, but your books will always remind me of him. At the start of 5th Grade we did a Newbery Award Winner Books and I chose Shiloh. I can relate to Marty because I love animals just like him. After reading your books I got into writing, I already was into writing because I made comics but now in 5th grade We write four paragraphs or more in our essays.

I loved to make my own books too when I was in 5th grade.  I wrote a lot of mysteries for a detective I named Penny.  I illustrated them too, so I can understand your attraction to making comics also.  (I loved to draw lace, so in each of my Penny books, if she’s in a cave or climbing a mountain, something always happens to her dress so that I  could draw her lacy underwear!)
