happy late birthday!

Hi Ms. Naylor, I realized that your birthday was on January 4, and I just thought I’d wish you a happy late birthday. Your books, especially your Alice ones, have meant the world to me, and I hope your day was amazing. Thanks so much!

Well, I can’t say my birthday was amazing, but it was fun–lunch with some of my favorite girlfriends, and gifts arriving from my two sons and their families–one living in New Jersey, the other in Minnesota.  Give me music and stories and chocolate and I’m a happy camper.
