I don’t know I just wanna meet the creator
Hi! I really like your book Shiloh its one of my favorite books. I have the Shiloh movie when I watched it I loved it. A question I have is what is one of your ideas that you had when you were making the book and your description of Shiloh what were one of the things you were going to do?
Usually when I start writing a new book, I have thought about it a long time. I know how it will start, how it will end, what the climax will be, and some of the bigger things that will happen along the way. But when I started Shiloh, I was so sad about the skinny hungry dog I’d seen in West Virginia, that I could only think she was abused and frightened and longing for company. So I simply set out to see how an eleven year old boy could get such a dog away from its abusive owner. And as I wrote, all the different scenes, all the action, began to come to me and work itself into the story. I thought the movie was well done. They changed a few things–added a character and made the ending more dramatic, but I felt that the movie stayed true to the spirit of the book.
