Mitch?

i’ve read all the alice books and i have enjoyed every single one of them, but what happened to mitch?
you didnt write anything about him in the last alice book.

It’s one of those relationships where you really liked each other as friends, but after a summer’s over, neither one of you feels strongly enough about the other to keep the relationship–whatever it was–going.  This happens in life.  It’s possible Alice texted him once or twice, but I think they both realized they probably didn’t have enough in common to have a real relationship.  Mitch was happy spending his life on the water, and that wouldn’t have been enough for Alice.
