new book

Question:

Hi, I am one of the biggest fan of the Alice Books.  I cant believe the series is almost ending.  i started reading the alice series during last summer and now im waiting for the last one to come out.  i wish there could be more and never ending books about her, but i was wondering if you could please write at least one more book of alice talking about alice and patrick.  i really want to know what will happen to both of them.  sometimes my situation is like alice too thats why i love your books.  i have a question: how long does it take you to come up with another alice story to write about?

You will find out all you need to know about Patrick in the final book, coming out next fall, Always Alice.  It takes me about six months to write a new Alice book.
