Thanks for making SHiloh book!

What I liked most about Shiloh was that Marty finally got Shiloh. My first question is how long did it take to make Shiloh and was it exciting making the Shiloh book? I’m very inspired by your books. Shiloh is such an amazing book thanks for making it.

I wrote the first draft of Shiloh in about six weeks because I was so worried about the little dog I’d met in Shiloh, West Virginia.  But it took writing several more drafts of the story, making each one better, before I was really satisfied with the story.  Best of all, was finding out that our friends in West Virginia had taken the dog in and adopted her.
