The Music Store

How did you get the idea of the “Melody Inn” store?

Phyllis replied:

There’s a music store on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring named Dale Music Store. I used to go there a lot, but it’s been years now since I’ve been inside, since we moved away, so I’m not sure how much The Melody Inn resembles Dale Music or how much I changed things around in my imagination to fit the story.
