the story

my question is how did you get a storyline for shiloh did it pop up in your or did it take you a while to think about it?

Before I begin a book, I usually know how it will begin, what the plot and climax will be, and how it will end.  But this isn’t true of Shiloh.  I was so upset about the dog we had found in West Virginia that I simply set out to see how an 11 year-old boy could get a mean, miserable man to give up his dog so Marty could care for it.
