Was Shiloh?

Hi Mrs. Phyllis,hope this finds you doing well. I’ve been a fan of yours & Shiloh since I was a little girl. I’m 27 now. It’s one of my most favorite films & novels. I’m so happy I came across your website. My question is, was Shiloh a male or Female? I’ve always wondered this.
I hope to hear from you. And thank you so much for your time & for creating such a story that I hold so closely to my heart.

Shiloh was a female dog, but in my book I made her male.  I’m so glad you liked the story.
