When did you make the book

When did you make the book Shiloh. The reason I’m asking is because Me and my class are reading your book and I don’t want to stop reading the book.

If I tell you that I wrote the book before you were born, will you stop reading it? Please keep on reading!  I found the little dog in Shiloh, West Virginia around 1988, and immediately began writing a story about her because I couldn’t get her out of my mind  (In the Shiloh books, I made her a male dog).
