When did you write your first book?

I like Shiloh Season. I like that the story is about a DOG! I like your books. When did you start writing your first book? Do you have a dog? Do you have a favorite BOOK.?

I had my first book published in 1985. But I wrote a lot of little “books” when I was in grade school.  I don’t have a dog now, but we grew up with a Springer Spaniel.  SHILOH is my favorite book.
